In local news, I built a set of small 4-foot dirt doubles in my front yard. Hopefully those who live by me will come and ride sometime. I'm taking off my pegs for the winter to give street riding a break until spring. No competitions yet. Soon enough we'll be having the annual "Ice Derby 50." The derby is basically 50 laps around the 3 ponds by my house, but there's a catch- it's in the winter when the roads are icy and there is enough snow to make berms. But i guess this year is just not good enough for snow. It is February and 60 degrees outside!!! I seriously doubt that we'll be having the Ice Derby this year.... For the locals and others: I really need riders. Please, if you're good enough, try out for our team! That's all the news for now. |
